Three people have been killed in California after a gunman opened fire inside a bowling alley in Torrance, near Los Angeles.
Police confirmed the three were pronounced dead at the scene after they responded to a shots-fired call at the Gable House Bowl on Friday night.
Torrence Police Department said early on Saturday they were searching for a suspect or suspects and in a Tweet advised people to stay away from the area.
One eyewitness, Jesus Perez, told the La Times he was inside the venue when the shooting started.
“We just ran right into the bar and took cover. All we heard was just, like two people got shot.”
Perez said he thought he had heard about four gunshots.
Two of the injured men were taken to hospital while the two others opted to seek their own medical attention.
