With its hot dry summers, Kosovo has long been known as a good land to cultivate wine but – until recently – small fruits did not feature much in the country’s agriculture.
This is changing, however, as more and more farmers find berries a handsome little earner.
Armend Krasniqi, from the village of Studencan in the Kosovo municipality of Suheraka/Suva Reka, is one of many farmers who have turned their interest towards growing these luscious fruits.
