Boney Kapoor is reportedly set to make a documentary on his late wife’s life. Boney, a film producer, is allegedly set to helm a project that will show case the life of Sridevi, along with film director Shekhar Kapur. Shekhar Kapur is said to be close with the family having directed Sridevi’s most famous film, Mr India. According to the Asian Age, the docu will showcase rare footage of the actress: ‘It will be a kind of one-stop visual legacy on her life and cinema, with the rarest of rare footage and voices of everyone who mattered in her life.’
The source added that the film will clear up rumours surrounding Sridevi’s death: ‘Boney is very disturbed by what he considers untruths that are being spread about his wife’s death.’ Boney and Sridevi married in 1997 having met on film sets as he produced many of her films. She then gave up acting for a while as she took time to raise their children.
